Last weekend, I headed back to San Francisco for Easter weekend. We left early Friday afternoon hoping to beat the traffic (we mostly succeeded) and make a stop at the Jelly Belly Factory (which is precisely the halfway mark from Rocklin to San Francisco and didn’t go as planned). We didn’t take into consideration the insane spring break crowds and the place was backed with kids and their families. We decided to forgo the mile-long line and come back another time. Lesson learned.
When we got into SF, the weather was a balmy 80 degrees, and the next day it was chilly and the fog had moved in. Ha, go figure. I’m sure I’ll miss the mild weather when I in the middle of a sweltering Sacramento summer. Either way, it was good to be home and frequent my favorite neighborhood haunts for filling up on carbs and sweets.
The following video is highlights of the weekend including going to Cafe Europa in the Inner Richmond for Easter dinner, and taking a walk through a very foggy Pacific Heights and admiring the beautiful homes.
